ASK Support for your School or College

What is the ASK Programme?

The Apprenticeship Support and Knowledge for Schools and Colleges (ASK) programme has been running since 2015, and Amazing Apprenticeships have proudly been involved since the very beginning.

Funded by the Department for Education, the programme has supported more than 4 million young people, and thousands of teachers, careers advisers, parents and carers throughout England to access a wide range of workshops and supporting resources to improve their knowledge and awareness of apprenticeships and technical education.

We are pleased to confirm that for 2024/25, The Careers & Enterprise Company will be overseeing the management of the programme. It will continue to be funded by the Department for Education, and the same brilliant ASK delivery partners will continue to offer local and national support to schools and colleges in England.

How Amazing Apprenticeships support ASK

Amazing Apprenticeships have been a key partner of the programme since it first launched. We support the programme in a number of ways, including:

  • Designing and developing the content for the activities & workshops
  • Managing the newsletter and communications for the programme
  • Supporting ASK delivery partners and working closely with CEC senior colleagues
  • Working with schools and colleges to gather feedback and insight on the impact and development of the programme going forward
  • Delivering a central programme of webinars and workshops for teachers, careers advisers, parents and carers

“We are proud to have been a partner of the ASK programme since its inception nine years ago. We firmly believe that this latest arrangement will enable us to work even more closely with the CEC, maximising our collective efforts to ensure that even more young people and their families can access high-quality information about apprenticeships and technical education. We are genuinely excited for the academic year ahead and the collaborative opportunities that it will bring.”
