All About Apprenticeships Podcast

Amazing Apprenticeships are delighted to feature in a brand new podcast series, All About Apprenticeships, sponsored by HomeServe Foundation.

Anna Morrison, director of Amazing Apprenticeships, took part in the very first podcast of the 10-part series to explore opportunities that apprenticeships can offer, the incentives in place, and discuss the importance of apprentices for the future of our country in a post-Covid and post-Brexit UK.

Talking alongside Tim Smith, director of communications and public affairs, WhiteHat GB, and Laura Burley, apprenticeships ambassador of The Open University, the panel discussion covered a wealth of questions posed by broadcaster Georgie Frost.

Homeserve’s CEO Richard Harpin then spent some time discussing their apprenticeship programme, research from their Checkatrade network, and a rather exciting promise if the Government can take us just one step further in terms of grants.

We were pleased to be invited back for the latest edition alongside The British Army’s Colonel Matt Ketterer which focused on how the British Army make their apprenticeship programmes (incl engineering, telecoms, logistic, health, and IT) so incredibly successful, why they fully deserved the top spot in the Top 100 Apprenticeship Employers and what other businesses could learn from their approach.

We are looking forward to the rest of the series which will follow a group of 5 apprentices and their journey and experiences. Catch up with the series here.
