Subject-led posters, activities, guides, and presentation slides make up this year’s NAW2024 resource bundle, with even more to come in December.
Running from Monday 5th – Sunday 11th February, National Apprenticeship Week 2024 (NAW2024) is a celebration of the benefits that apprenticeships present, and a chance for everyone involved in apprenticeships to raise awareness, understanding and excitement around the opportunities they provide.
Phase one of the collection is now live and focusses on teachers and careers advisers, providing them with subject-led bundles that they can use to increase awareness and enthusiasm in young people and their families, parents, or carers. Each bundle includes a poster, student activity sheet, teacher guide and lesson slides. With 15 different subject bundles there are 60 individual resources to use during, and long-after National Apprenticeship Week.
In addition to the bundles, ‘The School and College Guide to National Apprenticeship Week 2023’ covers everything you need to know and is accompanied by a helpful explainer film that explains all of the resources on offer.
A second release on the 1st December will widen the collection and include ‘This is my story’ – a brand-new film featuring apprentices with learning differences, disabilities and health conditions. The short film will showcase how a diverse group of apprentices are progressing their careers with the support of their employers and training providers.
Alongside the film, an updated digital School Display Pack will be released ahead of the Christmas break.
Current resources are now available via the Amazing Apprenticeships website with later releases announced via the Amazing Apprenticeships newsletter.
