Amazing Apprenticeships contribute to new Social Mobility Commission apprenticeships toolkit

October 11, 2021

Launching on Thursday 14th October ‘Apprenticeships that work for all: A practical toolkit for employers, training providers and apprenticeship practitioners’ offers organisations of all sizes a practical, structured roadmap to improving socioeconomic diversity and inclusion.

Whether an employer just taking the first steps toward creating a deeper, more diverse workforce, or already decades in and developing new strategies, the new toolkit offers a broad selection of guidance, practical advice and encouragement about realistic initiatives and approaches to drive real positive change.

Amazing Apprenticeships Founder, Anna Morrison CBE, and Tom Pritchard, employer relationships manager are named contributors in the new toolkit with Amazing Apprenticeship’s The Genie Programme and Project Positive referenced within.

“The toolkit couldn’t be arriving at a better time. It’s a much-needed new resource that will help engaged, passionate employers change the apprenticeships landscape for the better, and we’re proud to have been involved in its creation,” said Pritchard

“It’s a brilliant starting point for organisations of all sizes, it was so important to us to be able to offer inspirational yet useable ideas and examples for businesses to structure their journey towards socio-economic diversity and inclusion”, adds Morrison. The emphasis is very much on the term ‘practical’ to enable realistic action.”

Organisations interested in implementing socio-economic strategy are also invited to explore The Genie Programme, a 12-month, mixed delivery social mobility, diversity and inclusion course designed to empower apprentice and early careers professionals to affect real change within their business.
