Our Promise of a Permanent Position
Once you have successfully completed your qualification and achieved the performance targets that we’ve set for you during your apprenticeship, you will be offered a permanent position with Bakkavor.
Our Training
Bakkavor will select the most suitable training provider depending on the apprenticeship you are completing. They will determine how the training is delivered. This could be:
- One day per week
- One week per month
- Block release

Our Apprenticeships
As a Bakkavor apprentice, you will get access to a wide range of career pathways in different areas of our business. From Engineering and Manufacturing Operations to Business, HR, Finance, Supply Chain or Health and Safety, you’ll get your future off to a flying start and we will invest in your future with us. Level 3 (Advanced) Apprenticeships
Our Level 3 apprenticeships are a great way to start your career with Bakkavor, we will support you in gaining a recognised qualification through the Level 3 apprenticeships we offer in:
- Engineering
- Supply Chain
- Food Technology
- Business Admin
- Payroll
Higher and Degree Apprenticeships
If you are looking for a higher/degree apprenticeship we can support, you in gaining a recognised qualification in one of the following apprenticeships at this level:
- Manufacturing
- Supply Chain
- Process
- Data Analyst
- Digital & Technology Solutions (IT)
- Finance
- Technical (Quality Practitioner)

Please complete the online application form. You will be asked to provide personal and educational details. You will also be asked some situation judgment questions at this stage in the application.
This is a great opportunity for you to express why you’re interested in a career in the food industry and to showcase any relevant experience or skills to highlight your understanding of the commercial aspects of the industry.

If you are successful with your online application form you will be invited to a half-day onsite assessment centre at one of our Bakkavor’s sites. At the Assessment Centre, you are given another opportunity to share your motivation, and flexibility and demonstrate how this apprenticeship aligns with your career goals.
Please be aware that the Assessment centre dates are fixed and cannot be rearranged, so it is important to keep the date available if you are invited.
