Time For Change: Autism and apprenticeships: This is my story

Data provided by the National Autistic Society shows that more than one in 100 people are on the autism spectrum, with young people and children being more likely to be recognised due to developments within the education system, whilst adults are still largely under-recognised. As the identification and diagnosis of autism has increased, we have also seen a greater awareness and deeper understanding of the challenges that autistic individuals may face, and how we can provide better educational and workplace support.
