Exploring Opportunities in Hertfordshire

On the 29th January, Amazing Apprenticeships in partnership with the Hertfordshire Careers Hub hosted the HOP into Apprenticeships and T Levels virtual Career event. The online event was an opportunity for Hertfordshire parents and carers of students in years 9 to 13 to connect with local employers and training providers.

Parents attended a series of 10-minute workshops, where they were able to access information and develop an understanding of local opportunities their child might be interested in pursuing.

Around 500 parents, carers, students and teachers met with 37 exhibitors, including Warner Bros. Discovery, Tesco, University of Hertfordshire, Hertford Regional College, North Herts College and many other exhibitors from across Hertfordshire, showcasing the apprenticeship and T Level opportunities they offer.

Exhibitors and attendees said they enjoyed the evening and found it enjoyable to hear about opportunities across Hertfordshire, many of the attendess are now considering an apprenticeship or T Level as an option.
