No Room for Clichés – International Women’s Day event
To mark International Women’s Day 2021, Amazing Apprenticeships hosted an exclusive webinar in partnership with the RAF to help to inspire the next generation of females about the incredible opportunities available to them through the RAF.
Joined by a panel of over 20 incredibly inspiring female Ambassadors from the RAF, we explored the professions available in 8 different career areas and heard from the Ambassadors about their own experiences and journey since joining the force.
We are particularly proud to have been joined by Air-Vice Marshal Maria Byford, Chief of Staff Personnel & Air Secretary, who was our keynote speaker for the day. Leading over 35,000 personnel, AVM Byford is an inspiring leader who strives for equality and inclusion within the force every day in her work. We heard a bit more about AVM Byford’s career within the force and her visions for the force going forward.

Women in the RAF Film
#CHOOSETOCHALLENGE PLEDGE COMPETITION
