SEND
Amazing Apprenticeships are passionate about widening access to opportunity through apprenticeships, and this means ensuring that information and inspiration are available in a variety of accessible ways.
Please use this page to explore the different resources that we have developed, working closely with the SEND Advisory Network – a collaboration of more than 100 careers professionals from throughout England.
SEND ADVISORY NETWORK
This progressive network aims to connect individuals from across the sector who have a shared interest in supporting young people with additional needs to access apprenticeships. Everyone is welcome to join and help to shape the resources, support and guidance provided to young people, their families and support networks.
RAPID READS
We have created a collection of rapid reads to offer guidance on finding an inclusive employer, application support, functional skills and the types of on-programme support available for apprentices with additional needs.
THIS IS MY STORY
Explore our ‘This Is My Story’ film collection, following inspirational stories of apprentices with learning differences, disabilities and health conditions.
The film collection is also accompanied by resources for teachers and career advisers to use with their students such as a teacher activity guide, lesson slide deck, display posters and transcripts.
