“Before I started as an IT apprentice at AstraZeneca, I had been a stay home mum raising my two beautiful children. As my children got older I started looking for an opportunity to get back into the workforce and start a career in IT and was not aware such possibilities existed until I heard about this amazing opportunity.

The benefits of apprentice programme are greater than I could have dreamed of.  Not only will I gain a Digital and Technology Solutions degree (fully funded) but also gain a full 4 years of work experience at the same time.

We are given the opportunity to do 3 8-month rotations across different areas within IT and work a full year in an area of our choice at the end. This gives us great exposure across a number of different IT disciplines and helps to make sure we make the right choice about our future career.”
