HEAR FROM THE APPRENTICES
“If you are thinking about taking up an apprenticeship then go for it. If you haven’t considered it you should look into it as it’s a brilliant way to learn on the job and gain real life experiences.
An apprenticeship on the HPC project offers young people an amazing way of getting into the nuclear industry that I believe would otherwise be difficult.
It also provides an amazing way to be able to study and learn. And you wouldn’t be able network with knowledgeable and likeminded people if you just went to college.”

“The reason for choosing this apprenticeship was because I enjoy being hands on and have an interest in the nuclear industry.
I also chose it knowing that EDF Energy was a good company to work for, where they provide extensive benefits to all employees, as well as having a well-structured support system. Knowing that EDF provide a competitive salary was an added bonus.”
