Step 1: Apply online

When applying online ensure that you answer all the questions listed fully. Try to support everything you say with examples and do some research into Mace beforehand to make sure that you are familiar with the company and our values.

Step 2: Telephone Interview

If you are successful in your online application you will receive an invitation to a telephone interview. During your telephone interview, we will ask you a variety of questions surrounding:

  • Your motivation for working in the construction industry and at Mace specifically
  • Your motivation for and understanding of the specific role you have applied to
  • Your education and work experience
  • Competency based questions based on behaviours such as team working and organisation

Step 3: Group Interview

If you are successful in your telephone interview, you will receive an invitation to a final stage group interview.

The group interview consists of 4-6 candidates attending a half-day session which will include a group task and a one-to-one interview.

We often have multiple roles available and not all candidates are competing for the same position. We make offers on a rolling basis, which means the earlier you interview, the more vacancies there will be.
