Our apprenticeship application

Our apprenticeship application requirements and processes can differ depending on the role you are applying for and candidates must be at least 17 years of age upon application but must be 18 years of age by their first day in the role.

“Being able to start this apprenticeship in my 40’s has allowed me to change career without financial impact on my young family and allowed me to show my children that you’re never too old to learn something new.” – Laura Lovekin, Trainee Contact Management Centre Officer

We advise checking our TVP careers site directly for details of specific programmes and routes, and more information about the application requirements for opportunities you are interested in.

TOP TIPS FROM TVP’S RECRUITMENT ADVISORS:

  • We advise you to thoroughly read the eligibility criteria on the TVP careers website before applying for your chosen role. This will make sure you have the correct qualifications and other eligibility for the role you are applying for.
  • Make sure to upload any documentation that is requested from you onto the application form. This all helps to make the recruitment process go smoothly for you.
  • Read through any documents and correspondence you receive from the Recruitment Team carefully. Sometimes the team request further information or forms to be returned to them and it is easy to mis-read these, which can delay your recruitment process.
  • If you have studied outside the UK, please gain a statement of comparability from UK-ENIC as soon as possible as waiting for this can delay your application.
  • We urge you to contact our Recruitment Team as soon as possible regarding any queries, problems or changes you encounter. That way they can provide advice or try to resolve those at the earliest opportunity, which means less stress for everyone.
  • Ensure you regularly check your spam/junk email folder for communications. This is vital to ensure you are up to date with the progress of your application and that you don’t miss any deadlines.
