Apprenticeships at the Telegraph

As an apprentice at The Telegraph, you’ll be embedded into a team learning the ropes, working alongside senior professionals and gaining real work experience at a world-renowned newspaper. 

Alongside your day job, you’ll be studying an industry-recognised qualification. You’ll study a course that is relevant to your role that will help you develop the knowledge and skills required to excel in your career. 

Be part of the team

The Telegraph is committed to giving all apprentices financial and practical support to achieve their qualification and you’ll be given one day a week to work on your course whilst being guided by your Line Manager and Development Coach.

All of our apprentices become an integral part of the Telegraph Team and make a real contribution on the programme and beyond. 

Support, socialising & Progression

Our two-year programme also includes technical training and support with developing key personal skills and behaviours. We also organise networking events so apprentices are able to get to know each other and meet senior colleagues in the business. 

There is the opportunity for high-performing apprentices to apply for permanent roles once they complete their qualification.
