Make the Most of Your Application
We have a whole section on our website dedicated to helping you with the application process.
1. Application Form
Although the process can differ slightly for each of our programmes, they always start with an online application form. This is where you’ll fill in information about your education history, previous experience, interests and activities, volunteering and any positions of responsibility.
2. Interview
You will then progress to a telephone / digital (video) interview. This will be conducted by one of the managers and we are trying to get a feel for how you might fit with our business. Make sure that you have taken time to research Unilever, the different areas of our business and have examples of your different skills ready.
3. VIRTUAL DISCOVERY CENTRE
Then, if you are successful, you would normally move onto the assessment centre. With the outbreak of Coronavirus in the UK we have re-created our Discovery Centre to be delivered virtually, this means you’ll be able to join us for this last stage from the comfort of your own home, using Microsoft Teams, you’re able to interact with the Unilever team as well as other candidates throughout the day.
The event is designed to give us a realistic picture of you and your abilities – to find out exactly what makes you tick and see if you have the potential to succeed in the apprenticeship programme. There are lots of things you can do in advance to help you to prepare.
