Our Apprenticeship Programmes

Check back early in 2019 for an overview of our main apprenticeship routes. These programmes will include both head office roles and positions in dealerships across the country.

How Our Programmes Work

As an apprentice with Lookers, you’ll have access to outstanding training, delivered by some of the world’s leading vehicle manufacturers!

Apprentices will spend 20% of their time off the job, learning key skills to advance their career with Lookers. Each of our manufacturers has an off-site training academy where you’ll spend time over the course of your apprenticeship, learning from the best in the business, whether that’s diagnostics and problem solving or customer service skills!

There are plenty of opportunities to put the skills you learn into practice, supported by an experienced and dedicated mentor in each of our dealerships.

The duration of your apprenticeship will vary based on the programme. For example, a Vehicle Technician programme will typically take 3 years, while a Vehicle Parts and Service Advisor programme takes 2.

You’ll receive multiple visits from your Skills Coach at your dealership, looking at how you can turn the theory learned into practice.
