Is there an age limit?

There is no age limit for the Apprenticeship programme but we do not accept applications from applicants under 18 years old.

Do I need any relevant work experience to apply to the apprenticeship programme?

Having some work experience is good (e.g. part-time work around school/college) but we aren’t expecting you to have any media/journalism experience.

Are apprentices paid?

Yes, Apprentices are paid a competitive salary which is reviewed throughout the programme. The Telegraph will also pay for your qualification.

How long is the apprenticeship programme?

Two years.

Am I guaranteed a job after the apprenticeship programme?

No, you are not guaranteed a role once you’ve finished the programme but we do encourage Apprentices to apply to permanent positions in the business.
