Your professional development doesn’t stop with the completion of your apprenticeship! As the scheme draws to a close, apprentices begin a career conversation with their local line managers.
The majority of our apprentices go onto further study whilst working. This includes professional accreditation, sponsorship to university and a leadership development course.
We are an organisation that prides itself on moving our colleagues through different departments of the business to experiences different aspects of the railway. Former apprentices have gone on to work in a variety of different areas of the business, both in engineering and beyond. The opportunities truly are endless.
