20/06/2019 – Apprenticeship Champions Consultation Event – Bristol
From September 2019, the Apprenticeship Support & Knowledge for schools and colleges programme (ASK) will expand to include support for students in years 7, 8 and 9 (Key Stage 3) and we will also be reviewing the existing content for years 10 – 13, offering a full new programme regarding apprenticeships.
The programme will continue to be fully funded by the National Apprenticeship Service, part of the Department for Education and available to all schools and colleges in England.
We are consulting with schools and key stakeholders to gather feedback and ideas to help shape the new offer.
We want to work with you to determine what the KS3 offer should include and how it should differ from the current programme available to students in years 10 – 13.
We are aware that the year groups within Key Stage 3 will require differentiated materials and would value your input as to the content of these resources.
We would also like to work with colleagues to develop a range of materials and resources to support students who have additional needs or are most disadvantaged, to raise their awareness of apprenticeships?
All feedback will be used to design the new programme for ASK, which will then be promoted to every school and college in England to access free of charge for their students, staff and parents.Date: Time: Location: Engine Shed, Bristol, BS1 6QH Duration: 2.5 hours Register
