Getting to grips with HTQs
HTQs are level 4 and 5 qualifications, such as HNCs, HNDs and Foundation Degrees that have been approved against employer developed standards for specific job roles. They are a high quality alternative to traditional routes such as apprenticeships or full-time degrees. Designed for post-18 study, they can be taken after a level 3 qualification, such as A-levels, T Levels, BTECs or some advanced apprenticeships, depending on the mandatory qualification within them.
