The House of Commons apprentices will join teams right across the organisation.

We don’t run cohorts as we have so many unique and exciting roles at the House of Commons, our apprentices join teams on a more individual basis.

open vacancy – committee support apprentices

We are currently recruiting for two Committee Support Apprentices who will be doing the Business Admin Level 3 apprenticeship. Applications for this vacancy close on Sunday 8th November.

What is a committee support apprentice?

The Chamber and Committees Team supports the business of the House and its Committees. The Committee Office, which sits within the Chamber and Committees Team provides general and secretariat services to select committees.

The Committee Support Apprentice provides administrative support to the Committee(s) in which they are based. They support the work of the Committee(s) across all of its functions, which could include monitoring correspondence received by the Committee, preparing papers, and formatting evidence for publication on the Committee’s website.

Are there progression opportunities?

On completion of this apprenticeship, you will have the opportunity to apply for other roles across the House and there are progression opportunities within the Chamber and Committees Team.
