We regularly win awards for our apprentice programme, we won the Food Manufacturing Excellence award in 2017, the Young Engineer of the year award in 2018 at the Food Processing Awards and the Skills and Development awards at the same awards in 2019. In 2020 we were named best apprentice employer in the Fast-Moving Consumer Goods sector by the Job Crowd which was based on reviews from apprentices. We win regularly because apprenticeships are hugely important to Bakkavor and the business supports us in making them successful.
We like to attend national careers events as well as working with local schools so we can speak to future apprentices about the amazing opportunities that we offer.
